The Leal Theatre of La Laguna hosts the presentation by Jason Lius Quartet of his latest work, entitled “Evolución”. It will be on Wednesday 19 from 21:00 hours and tickets are on sale at the price of 5 €.

“Evolución” is the name of the album whose aim is to present the lute as a solo instrument in a jazz ensemble. This project is composed of eight themes that use the melodies of Canarian folklore, fused with various Latin rhythms, resulting in a unique sonority to date, not only because of the unusual repertoire, but also because of the instruments that are part of it.
