The traditional Nativity scene of the Council opens its doors to the public at the Island Palace of Santa Cruz until January 6. It will be open from 09:00 to 15:00 hours and from 16:00 to 21:30 hours, except on 24 and 31 (09:00 to 15:00) and on 25 December and 1 and 6 January (16:00 to 21:30 hours).

On this occasion, the manger offers a traditional appearance, when it is the 30th anniversary of the first time this body joined this tradition. And he does it with the hand of the Nativity Scene artist José María Mesa who, with a group of collaborators, brings the visitor closer to the mystery of Christmas. The figures that give life to the Nativity are original, handmade, dressed in traditional clothing, and represent different passages of the Nativity of the Lord. All of them will be scattered over a part of the island, represented by the traditional Canarian architecture. In this new edition, the Nativity Scene of the Council makes a nod to the rosette of Tenerife and to the request made by this body for this noble trade to be declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, with the presence of the rosette in the recreation of one of the episodes reflected.
