As a result of the entrance of Law 57/2003, of 16 of December, Measures for the Modernization of the Local Government who comes to modify Law 7/1985, of 2 of April, Regulator of Bases of the Local Regime, the regime of organization and distribution of competitions applicable to the Insular Town hall of Tenerife were altered, to the being to him of application with preferred character the regime of the municipalities of great population and not the one of the Provincial Delegations, in this sense, the Organic Regulation of the Insular Town hall of modified Tenerife to adapt to this circumstance, establishes that they are supervising agencies:
- The General Coordinators of Area, when they are not member of the Council of Insular Government.
- The Advisers with special Delegation.
- Insulares Directors.
- The Secretary General of the Plenary session.
- The Holder of the organ of support to the Council of Insular Government and the Advisory Secretary of the same, that will denominate General Vice-secretary.
- The Director of the Legal Consultant's office.
- The General Inspector.
The maximum control elements of the Independent Organisms, the Enterprise Public Organizations and the special organs of Administration will also have the condition of managers.
