Welcome to the Online Training Platform created by the Island Network of Public Internet Access Centres. The Platform has been implemented by the Council of Tenerife in order to encourage the people of Tenerife to use New Technologies and to promote the benefits of the Information and Knowledge Society.

This e-learning tool offers all those people who, for whatever reason, are not able to follow regular classes the opportunity to participate in free courses and workshops over the internet. All courses are staffed by a permanent team of tutors accredited by the University of La Laguna (students can also earn open elective credits).

The training courses have been designed with specific groups of people in mind and there are many interesting courses to choose from, for example internet literacy, Web 2.0, the internet, word processing and other office software, DTT, languages, online admin procedures, etc, all of which seek to promote the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

‑{}‑The first training portal is to be implemented as a pilot program in distance learning centres that belong to the Advanced Network of Public Digital Centres (see adjoined document). Only in these centres will you be able to validate your password to use the platform. Therefore, to apply for the courses and workshops, you should visit your closest distance learning centre. Once you have applied, you will receive an email or telephone call informing you of the status of your application.

Given that access to the platform is only possible from one of these distance learning centres, you will be benefit from personal guidance offered by the tutor at your centre throughout your entire studies.
