Far removed from the island's urban areas, the municipality of Buenavista del Norte has managed to retain its traditional charm and agricultural way of life in a stunning setting. Hamlets such as that of Masca, natural areas such as the Teno Rural Park, as well as the extensive green areas of banana plantations offer visitors exceptionally beautiful landscapes.
