The municipality of Fasnia has for a long time been home to a great deal of natural and cultural heritage. It offers shell fishing, fishing and coastal grain plantations, fruit trees and vegetable gardens, herds of goats scrambling up to the peaks to graze the high pastures and bees that still enjoy the glorious flowering of retamas del Teide at the end of spring. This is all combined with rural tourism and organic farming as the way for the future. The municipality is located to the south of Santa Cruz, between Güímar and Arico.
