Work as a volunteer in museums

If you are a senior citizen, have free time and feel that your skills are not being put to good use, the Museum of Nature and Mankind, the History and Anthropology Museum and the Science and Cosmos Museum invite you to join "Voluntarios culturales mayores", a volunteer program in which people over the age of sixty guide children, young and retired people through Spain's museums and cathedrals.

Who is it for?

This is an initiative aimed at people over the age of 60 who would like to continue to actively participate in the community. All guides must attend and pass a series of theoretical and practical courses delivered by staff from the participating museums.

How

To join this team, you can download the registration form from the Museums of Tenerife website or call the Regional Body for Museums for Tenerife.
