Validity of electronic documents

You can also check the validity and authenticity of information in electronic documents by entering the secure verification code in the Council of Tenerife's document verification system.

This code guarantees the integrity of the document by validating the electronic address as set forth in Article 18.1.b of the Electronic Access to Public Services for Citizens Law 11/2007 of 22 June.

To verify an electronic document, simply enter the secure verification code that appears on the receipt issued by the Central Electronic Registry as well as the security code that appears in the image, in the corresponding text box.

If the code is not clear, click on the "Try a new code" icon to the right of the image.

You will then be notified as to the validity of the selected electronic document.
