What it is
The database is a cutting-edge computer tool that reflects the efforts made in gathering, disseminating and updating the socio-economic information that is generated in the Canary Islands, particularly Tenerife.
It contains a great deal of information, stored in a series of sub-databases, including statistics for demographics, employment, urban planning, construction, land , and major sectors of the economy such as tourism, The database also shows the evolution of these statistics over a number of years; moreover, for certain activities there are statistics covering not only the municipality, but also organisations and population centres.
The database is complemented by a document archive maintained by the Documentation Centre, made up of monographs and regular publications and studies on specific subjects.
