The Tenerife Symphony Orchestra offers for the first time the complete Brahms Symphonies. The principal conductor of the orchestra, Antonio Méndez, leads the orchestra on this unique occasion to enjoy the compositional expressiveness and symbolism of the German composer in two consecutive concerts that will take place in the Tenerife Auditorium "Adán Martín" on Fridays 15 and 22 February at 19:30 hours. Tickets are on sale at €34.

This interpretation of the symphonies of the genius from Hamburg is integrated into the programmatic line of the current season of the Tenerife group, in whose design its principal conductor, Antonio Méndez, places in a privileged place “the great romantic and post-romantic repertoire of Central Europe, in a season whose two fundamental axes will be the cycles dedicated to Brahms and Debussy”. “Indeed, the Symphony and I are excited to present in these two weeks the Brahms cycle, which is the central point of the season and a clear example of the programmatic line on which we have opted. Undoubtedly, the great Central European romantic repertoire will have a prominent place in our programming, and making this complete Brahms repertoire in our first season together is a good starting point from which we can subsequently develop our repertoire in different directions”, said the conductor.
