TEA Tenerife Space of Arts presents NO NI NÁ. Contenga multitudes, the first exhibition of María Cañas in the Canary Islands

TEA Tenerife Space of Arts, centre of contemporary art of the Council, presents the first exhibition in Canary Islands of María Cañas (Seville, 1972), “NO NI NÁ. Contenga multitudes” (NO, NOR ANYTHING. Holds crowds). The exhibition can be visited until 23 June, Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 20:00 hours.
Defender of culture considered as an infinite palimpsest, María Cañas advocates a libertarian use of images and words, games of language in which tragedy and humour build a landscape revealing the greatness and misery of the world in which we survive. In this sense, the artist pointed out that she is "interested in the culture of recycling, of sharing knowledge, and ecological, in the sense that we are all shareholders in the film industry".
