The ZaladeTeatro Space, on the road to Las Mercedes, La Laguna, hosts the staging of "Lazarillo de Tormes" performed by Morfema Teatro, on Friday 12, starting at 20:30 hours. It stages the play "Sancho Panza", which will be performed by the company Zálatta Teatro, on Thursday 28 March, from 20:30 hours. The tickets are on sale at the price of €8.

The play is actually a long letter that the "author" sends to an anonymous correspondent. It uses the first person to narrate the story of Lázaro González Pérez. A boy of very humble origin who was born without honour at the river Tormes in Salamanca. He was orphaned from his father, a thieving miller named Tomé González. And he was placed at the service of a blind man by his mother, Antona Perez, a woman living together with a black man, Zaide, who gives Lazarillo a beautiful mulatto stepbrother. Lazarus evolves from his initial innocence to developing a survival instinct. He is awakened to the evil of the world by the blindman. He then goes on to serve a stingy clergyman from Maqueda who starves him to death.

You can buy your ticket through the Internet.
