The Tenerife Early Music Festival (Fimante) is offering, as part of The Nova Ars Organorum cycle, the concert "The baroque in its full splendour: polyphony, polychorality and organ". The evening will be hosted by the organist of the Palencia Cathedral, David Largo Dios, and the Camerata Lacunensis, an ensemble founded in La Laguna. It will be on Saturday 11, from 20:30 hours, at the church of San Agustín de La Orotava, with free entry until seating capacity reached.

David Largo Dios is, in addition to being an organist of the Palencia Cathedral, an organ teacher at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Segovia. He was born in Palencia, where he first studied piano, then took intermediate-level organ studies with Roberto Fresco and Miguel del Barco Díaz, and then higher studies at the Madrid Royal Conservatory. He also has a degree in Musicology from the University of Valladolid and has finished his intermediate-level studies of Harpsichord. The Camerata Lacunensis, directed by Francisco José Herrero, was founded in 1993 at the La Laguna University. It is therefore celebrating its 25th anniversary during the academic year 2018-2019. This ensemble is internationally recognised not only for its technical and interpretative work, but especially for its emotion and special gift for transmitting feelings and moving the most diverse audiences.
