The Tenerife Symphony Orchestra will offer on Friday 14th, at 19:30, the eighteenth concert of the season, under the title "Bruckner's Romantic", which will be directed by the German director Karl-Heinz Steffens and will have the French violinist Michael Barenboim as guest soloist. Tickets are on sale from €17.

  • Alban Berg's "Concerto for Violin" premieres in 1936, originally born in memory of Manon Gropius, the daughter of Alma Mahler (widow of the composer Gustav Mahler) and Walter Gropius (one of the founders of the Bauhaus), who died in 1935 due to polio. Fate was responsible of the paradox that this composition was also dedicated to the memory of the author himself, since he would die shortly afterwards.
  • The Austrian Anton Bruckner deciphers musically, through his "Symphony number 4 in E flat major, Romantic”, the life of a city located in a forest, being able to recognise from the horn that announces the awakening of the day, to the march of the hunters, or the chirping of a great tit. The second and third movements, according to Bruckner himself, are a love scene in a rustic setting and a hunt interrupted by a popular dance.
