The Early Music Festival of Tenerife (Fimante), through its Nova Ars Organorum cycle, offers a concert on Saturday 15, at 19:30, in the convent of Santa Catalina de La Laguna. The organist Ana Aguado will play the two instruments of the temple with the programme "The German organ amidst the sounds of the 17th and 18th centuries". Entrance is free until full capacity is reached.

The programme will be shared between the two organs. Sweelinck, Reincken and Kerll, representing the Germanic schools of the 17th century, open the programme of this concert in which some of the most characteristic genres of the time will also be explored: from the "stylus fantasticus" of the toccata or fantasy with echo, to the pasacalles, tiento or canarios of Spanish origin. In the second part, the selection opts for works by composers of the eighteenth century, starting with the eldest son of J. S. Bach, Carl Philipp Emanuel, to then travel to Spain and listen to works by four of the most prominent organists of the Royal Chapel of Madrid as were José de Torres, Sebastián de Albero, José Lidón and the Italian Domenico Scarlatti.
