Mon Peraza stars in a new storytelling session at the CajaCanarias Foundation

As part of its International Sessions dedicated to Africa, at 6.00 p.m. on Tuesday 25th June the CajaCanarias Foundation (Fundación CajaCanarias) will put on a storytelling session for the whole family, run by Mon Peraza. Admission is free until seating capacity is reached.
The stories are mainly told with picture books, accompanied by the use of some musical instruments. It is recommended for children aged three and over and the sessions last for approximately 60 minutes. Laura Escuela is an oral storyteller and a specialist in Children's Literature. She is also an Early Childhood teacher and an educational psychologist. She has been a storyteller since 2008 and has performed at numerous story festivals on the islands and has developed reading animation projects in libraries and schools. She reads for all different kinds of audiences and usually uses musical instruments in her sessions, as well as picture books.
