On Sunday 11th, at 12.00, Tenerife’s Museum of History and Anthropology will host "Morimundo. Death and the city", a guided tour that begins and ends at the Museum and that goes through parts of the city. The price is €9 per person and tickets can be bought at the box office. Find out more by calling 922 825 949 / 43.

"Morimundo. Death and the city" is a guided tour that is thought-provoking, at the same time bringing participants closer to a reality that is increasingly blurry; the presence of death in the urban context and its importance as a key element in shaping the society in which it manifests itself. During the journey, you will find out about how the Inquisition happened on the islands, the non-anonymous deaths of some important people, the city’s burial sites, traditions such as All Souls Day and how we experience death, previously and currently. All of this information is imparted at each of the tour’s four stops (Plaza del Adelantado, the Cathedral, the old convent of San Agustín and the Museum itself).
