Mexican artist Israel Martinez leads a 'Critical listening' workshop at TEA, an approach to sound and audio

On Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th from 16.00 to 20.00, the TEA Tenerife Arts Space will run a workshop on sound, audio and its relationship with art, entitled "Critical listening". It will be run by Mexican artist Israel Martinez. It is free but requires prior registration. You can do this by emailing info@agencia-tc.org.

This workshop is open to everyone who is interested in the sonic landscape of the island, in its transformation into the present and potential future, as well as in the literature as a means to approach it. It will review and discuss different approaches to sound, audio, field recording, literature and contemporary art. This activity is part of the "Territorial Practices. Visitors’ listening" audio art cycle within the framework of the TEA Tenerife Arts Space Laboratory of Action.
