The Museum of Nature and Archaeology (MUNA) is hosting an African lullabies workshop to be given by Keybis Keba Danso on Saturday 7, at 11:30 am. Admission is free until seating capacity is reached.

The lullabies are the first channel of communication between mother and child. Through them, the mother transmits her culture and tradition. In this workshop the lullabies come from Senegal and different African countries. They are sung in Wolof and other languages. Mohamadou Keba Danso (1984, Senegal) is a multidisciplinary artist, graduated in Cinematography and Cultural Management from the Media Center School in Dakar, Senegal. He is president and founding member of the youth association AJSS (Youth Association for Awareness and Solidarity) in Dakar and, at the European level, he is founder of APCS (Association for the Promotion of Senegalese Cinema) in Dakar. The AJSS association has taken part in several initiatives that have allowed him to take part in various projects for the development and awareness of young people. At a European level, the APCS association has allowed him to travel and participate in projects touring different cultural events in cities such as Madrid, Valencia, Seville, the Canary Islands, Paris and Berlin in which they present the cinema of the new generations of Senegal.

The exhibition is part of the MusaSenegal Senegelese Culture Festival. Find out about all their activities.
