On Thursday 23rd at 20:00, TEA Tenerife Arts Space will premiere “The story of Lila” (“La historia de Lila”), an animated short film directed by the professor of the University of La Laguna’s Faculty of Fine Arts, Alfonso Ruiz. Admission to this screening is free; tickets can be collected in the central box office.

"The story of Lila", a production by La Casa Animada, takes its aesthetic inspiration from the frescoes of Giotto (1267-1337); colourful and imaginative works that represent a turning point in the history of art by introducing elements of representation of depth that were very innovative at the time (since the science of perspective applied to art would not develop fully until the High Renaissance, during the 15th and 16th centuries). Realism and fairy tales combine in this short film, which is about the desire to be free, love and solidarity, and the life of animals.
