The TEA brings together twenty artists from the Canary Islands in the show “Crisis? What Crisis? Chapter 2”

The TEA Tenerife Arts Space hosts the exhibition “Crisis? What Crisis? Chapter 2. Drawings (and other anthropological resources)”, a collection concentrated on drawing and its relevance to the careers of twenty Canary Islands artists born after 1975. The show can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 20:00, until 3 June.
“Crisis? What Crisis? Chapter 2” continues with the focus on artists post-1975. However, there is also an introduction with others who were born earlier but whose work fits the established criteria. The work on display marks genealogies in relation to ways of working with drawing in the Canary Islands. Even if not involving drawing in the traditional sense or as a technique, it can be approached from some conceptual parameters. With this, the curators have worked to highlight the importance of work processes beyond the criteria of a generational selection.
