De martes a sábado, de 09:00 a 20:00; domingo, lunes y festivos, de 10:00 a 17:00 horas

To celebrate International Museum Day 2018, the Museum of History and Anthropology offers free guided tours led by volunteer staff in Spanish and English at its Casa Lercaro location in La Laguna. In addition, between 18 and 28, from Tuesday to Saturday 9:00 to 20:00; and Sunday, Monday and public holidays, from 10:00 to 17:00, visitors can use QR codes to access images on their mobile phone of some of the objects not exhibited to the public.

The theme of this international celebration, "Hyperconnected Museums: new approaches, new publics", coincides with the 25-year presence of volunteers at Tenerife's Museums starting with the link to the Spanish Confederation of Senior Citizens Groups (CEATE) in 1993. In this context, the visit will take place at 11:00. In addition, as Tenerife's Museums are becoming ever more integrated into their communities, the Museum of History and Anthropology is celebrating International Museum Day with the QR tool that the International Council of Museums (ICOM) has used to design the institutional image for raising awareness of the event. You are invited to scan them with your mobile on the panel located in the main patio of Casa Lercaro to view some of the objects not on display that make up the collections that are mostly safeguarded in storage.
