On Thursday 24 May, the Museum of Nature and Mankind holds a new session of #NaturaJazz 2018. It will feature the photographs of José Juan Hernández and Dominic Dähncke as well as live music from JM Churchi & Son de la Tierra. A feast for the senses presented by Cervezas Alhambra, the programme begins at 20:00. Admission is free. The first session will be at 21:00.

  • The first session will take place at 21:00with the screening of "Lazos" by José Juan Hernández. The project aims to bring together images of the relationships between species living side-by-side in the diverse environments of the Canary Islands. Through this display of quality photographic snippets, the author hopes to raise awareness of what often happens in these island sceneries and their importance within this natural community.
  • The second screening, at 22:00 , will feature the photographs of Dominic Dähncke, "Retales de un sueño", and the musical accompaniment of JM Churchi & Son de la Tierra. His work shows how the natural environment of the Canary Islands offers landscapes and details that often cause us to wonder whether what we are witnessing was, or will be, a dream.
