On Monday 28 at 19:00, philosopher Fernando Broncano offers a new look at the story of the two lovers from Alejandro Dumas' novel "Camille" at the Salón de Grados of the Philosophy Section of the University of La Laguna. It will be the final talk of "Primavera Violeta", the programme put together by the Cabildo and the University. Admission is free.

Broncano will discuss the proposal entitled "Lo que ignoran los hombres. La dama de las camelias y la opacidad en los espacios afectivos" (What Men Ignore. Camille and Opacity in Affective Spaces), unveiling the limits of our ideas about love and emotional relationships. The works of Dumas and Verdi are valuable documents that show the distortion of the order of affections. Both constitute a window into the blindness of societies and how feelings are articulated with other forms of social existence.
