This festival is now known not only in the Canary Islands but also nationwide due to being in the Acieloabierto network -bringing together Spain's most important dance festivals at non-conventional venues- and its recognition by the Ministry of Culture. It is also becoming known internationally as more and more companies want to be in Cuadernos Escénicos. The artistic director offers his appreciation to the Town Hall because "Garachico continues to support culture and this is one of the pillars of this festival's growth". Regarding the international presence, Roberto Torres highlights the participation of African dancers like Marie Agnes Gomis and Jacques Bana Yanga, as well as the performance of the Irish company of Jazmin Chiodi and Alex Iseli.
