Gastromusic Fest by Heineken, taking place from Friday 2 March at 17:00 until 4 March, will offer gastronomic delights from foodtrucks and restaurants spread out over 3,000 square metres. It will take place on Saturday from 11:00 to 24:00 and Sunday from 11:00 to 19:00.

On Friday 2 at 20:30, the Reyes Bartlet Choir and the Tampere Philharmonic Choir take on Mozart’s “Requiem KV626” at the Peña de Francia Church in Puerto de la Cruz. It will take place as part of the 16th Baroque and Early Music Festival. Tickets are on sale for €15.

The comedians Aarón Gómez and Kike Pérez come to the Guimerá Theatre with their “75th Anniversary

The Guimerá Theatre hosts a performance by the comedians Áaron Gómez and Kike Pérez entitled “75 Aniversario”. They will take to the stage on Friday 2 at 20:30 and Saturday 3, with two shows at 18:00 and 20:30. Tickets are on sale for €10, €12 and €15.

Cinema
The first fully painted film in cinema history, “Loving Vincent”, comes to the TEA.

From Friday 16 until Sunday 18, at 19:00 and 21:30, the TEA Tenerife Arts Space will screen Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman’s “Loving Vincent”. Nominated for the Oscar for Best Animated Film, it is the first fully painted animated film in the history of cinema. Tickets are on sale for €4.

Ruts & la Isla Music unveil their “Flor de Invierno” at the Leal Theatre

On Friday 2 March at 21:00 the Leal Theatre in La Laguna will host the latest release from Ruts & la Isla Music, “Flor de Invierno”, Canarian reggae with a feminine touch. Tickets are on sale for €8, €12 and €15.

The TEA exhibit “Contra la piel” opens the new season of Area 60

The TEA Tenerife Arts Space presents “Contra la piel” (“Against the Skin”), the new exhibition of Area 60, a support programme helping to integrate young artists and curators into the professional world. The show is curated by Semíramis González (Gijón, 1988) and exhibits creations by artists Cristóbal Tabares, Valle Galera, Rubén H. Bermúdez and Gabriela Bettini. It is open until 6 May. Admission is free.

The Museum of Nature and Mankind will host the exhibition “Athanatos. Immortal. Death and Immortality in Past Populations” from 20 December to 4 June from 9:00 to 21:00. It will offer a look at the funeral rites of the Guanches as well as other cultures and will include an extraordinary World Congress on Mummy Studies to be held in May.
