Ruts & la Isla Music unveil their “Flor de Invierno” at the Leal Theatre

On Friday 2 March at 21:00 the Leal Theatre in La Laguna will host the latest release from Ruts & la Isla Music, “Flor de Invierno”, Canarian reggae with a feminine touch. Tickets are on sale for €8, €12 and €15.

On 24 and 25 March, Tricicle will offer a double performance at Tenerife Auditorium’s Symphony Hall. According to the group, it will be the last show of a history spanning four decades. The performances on Saturday will begin at 19:30 and 22:00, while the Sunday performances will be at 18:00 and 20:30. The price of tickets ranges from €15 to €35.

The TEA exhibit “Contra la piel” opens the new season of Area 60

The TEA Tenerife Arts Space presents “Contra la piel” (“Against the Skin”), the new exhibition of Area 60, a support programme helping to integrate young artists and curators into the professional world. The show is curated by Semíramis González (Gijón, 1988) and exhibits creations by artists Cristóbal Tabares, Valle Galera, Rubén H. Bermúdez and Gabriela Bettini. It is open until 6 May. Admission is free.

The Museum of Nature and Mankind will host the exhibition “Athanatos. Immortal. Death and Immortality in Past Populations” from 20 December to 4 June from 9:00 to 21:00. It will offer a look at the funeral rites of the Guanches as well as other cultures and will include an extraordinary World Congress on Mummy Studies to be held in May.
