Child care centres

A number of municipalities on the island offer child care centres and nurseries attending to the basic educational needs of children in the first stage of Children’s Education, that is, children aged between 0 and 3 years of age. Enrolment requisites, services and opening hours are determined by the local council in question, which normally manage these centres via their Department for Social Services.
