Responsible mobility workshop

Transport and mobility in general as well as the use of collective versus individual transport and the benefits it generates for the protection of the environment are the focus of this Centre for Consumer Training and Quality Promotion workshop.

Who it is aimed at

For Secondary Education and First-year high school students.

Workshop contents

  • Find out about the main characteristics of mobility in the Canaries, understanding the underlying difficulty of transport in the Islands, due to our insular condition and our particular orography.
  • Find out about problems generated by individual transport and the environmental, social and economic consequences of the dominant model of individual mobility.
  • Find out about the solutions in favour of responsible transport of people: Advantages of collective transport over individual transport.
  • Stimulate and value individual  and collective responsibility with regards to sustainable mobility for the improvement of the environment and quality of life.
