Composting and fertilizer obtained from waste

Household compost imitates in a controlled and accelerated manner the wonders of nature. By breaking down our household and vegetable waste we can produce high-quality fertilizer called compost. Kitchen and garden scraps can be converted into fertilizer and fed to our plants. There is little cost involved in making compost as minimal equipment is needed and there is no longer a need to purchase fertilizers for your fields or gardens.

The Composting Guide (see adjoined document) takes you through the process of accessible composting. Find out what can be composted, how to select, make and use containers, learn about compost bins and the advantages of reusing waste as you work your way through our step by step explanations.
