The Centre for the Conservation of Agricultural Biodiversity in Tenerife (CCBAT) is Tenerife's germplasm bank . The centre was founded within the framework of the Council of Tenerife's 2001-2005 Biodiversity Plan in response to the need to create a centre responsible for the recuperation and conservation of Tenerife's native plant species.
