Eighty per cent of the grapes harvested are white grapes, principally the Listán Blanco variety; however Malvasía and Marmajuelo are also grown. Only 20% of the grapes grown are red varieties.

The main varieties of white grapes harvested in this region are Bastardo Blanco, Gual, Forastera Blanca, Listán Blanco and Malvasía, amongst others. The reds are Bastardo Negro, Listán Negro, Malvasía Rosada, Moscatel Negra, Negramoll, Tintilla and Vijariego Negra.
