The Coordinating Centre for Emergencies and Security 112(Centro Coordinador de Emergencias y Seguridad), provides all residents and visitors with emergency assistance assistance in the areas of, health, citizen safety, fire-fighting and rescue services.
Simply call 112, , a free number covering the entire region that is serviced by English, German and Spanish speaking staff and operates 24 hours a day.
The service was launched with its previous name , Single Emergency Line 112, on the 30th of May 1998 in order to guarantee rapid and effective response to all emergency calls made on the island.
