MAPAS will take eight stage shows and nine concerts to the stages of the capital, where it will offer a careful selection of artists and companies, among which are the Teatro del Temple, La Congregación Teatro, Alicia Soto-Hojarasca or Jupiter & Okwess. The free samples will be held from 5:15 p.m. until midnight, opening their doors to culture from countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, Brazil, Chad, Canada, Morocco, Congo, Mexico, Cameroon, Colombia or Spain.

  • The Ghanaian group FRA!, winners of this year's cultural project Ghana Vis a Vis, which was organised by Casa África, will be responsible for opening the shows open to the public at the 5:15 p.m. in the Symphony Hall of the Adán Martín Auditorium of Tenerife.
  • A classic play will be brought to the stage of the Guimerá theatre at 5:30: Life is a dream, in a version by Teatro del Temple. The company, one of the oldest in our country.
  • The play is followed by the dance, brought to us by African contemporary creation. The piece Qué importa el abismo (what does the abyss matter), by Ella Poema, Aída Colmenero Díaz’s multidisciplinary project, can be seen in the Sala Castillo of the Tenerife Auditorium at 6:00 p.m.. At the same time, the Chamber Hall of this cultural space hosts the performance of Lindsey Abudey, singer and composer who mixes elements of jazz, soul and alternative sounds in her elegant and contemporary proposal ... "And the Bass is Queen".
  • Kyekyeku who, as their compatriots from Ghana FRA!, are winners of the Vis a Vis project, will go on stage at 6:45 p.m. in the Symphony Hall.
  • Three proposals from different disciplines will be staged at 7:30 p.m.. The first one comes from the Venezuelan company Popelei to the IES Mayor Bernabé Rodríguez, who will perform Manuelita. Talent, mastery and virtuosity will be offered by Yone Rodríguez, one of the most active instrumentalists of the new generation of Canarian timple players in the Chamber Room of the Auditorium of Tenerife. And in the Plaza del Castillo, the dance and contemporary creation company Alicia Soto-Hojarasca will share its scenic language with the spectators who come to see their Estudio 3: Miradas (Studio 3: Looks).
  • Guizado, the famous Brazilian trumpeter, will be on stage in the Plaza del Castillo at 8:15 p.m. to present O Multiverso em Colapso (The Multiverse Collapsing). Half an hour later, at 8:45 p.m., the Canarian company Burka Teatro will perform at La Granja Espacio de Creación "TheRoomToBe".
  • Again, in the Auditorium of Tenerife, Vaca 35 Teatro en Grupo will stage the 8:55 p.m. in the singular space "The only thing a great actress needs is a great play and the desire to succeed". And at 9:00 p.m., in the Symphonic Hall, the Gran Canaria Big Band and the timple player Germán López.
  • African sounds return to the Plaza del Castillo at 9:45 p.m. with AfrotroniX, from Chad, who won the Best African DJ award in 2018 and the electric touareg blues. At 10:15 p.m., the dancer, choreographer and Cameroonian artist Zora Snake will present in the Sala Castillo of the Tenerife Auditorium, the dance piece Le déppart (The Departure).
  • The scenic performances finish on Thursday at 10:25 p.m. at the Guimerá Theater, with La Congregación Teatro (Colombia), which will later lead the audience of Tenerife with their costumbrist thriller, El ensayo.
  • The day closes with music in the Auditorium of Tenerife. At 10:30 p.m. in the Plaza del Castillo, the Moroccan quartet N3RDISTAN will offer a bold, unusual and avant-garde musical fusion. Finally, the Symphony Hall will host the Congolese Jupiter & Okwess who will present their Kin Sonic, at 11:35 p.m..
