TEA shows pieces from its collection at the convent of Las Catalinas de La Laguna

Until 27 October, from Tuesday to Sunday from 11.00 to 18.00, the TEA Tenerife Arts Space invites you to the exhibition "An unaltered wait", with free admission. In this exhibition, sixteen works are exhibited, including paintings, photographs, videos and sculptures, from the TEA’s archives.
In the words of Alejandro Castañeda, the curator of the exhibition, "An unaltered wait is a a cross-sectional search within the TEA Collection that, excusing the delay, identifies voices that were speaking from places of resistance, that together construct a narrative where transformation, a dissident identity and other imaginary ones are possible”. This exhibition, he explains, "is conceived as a relational, rather than a lineal story", which is why it has been structured in five chapters: "Genesis", "The wait", "Identify, perform", "A personal revolt” and "The change".
