Tenerife Council’s cultural, sporting, social and information centres close their doors for 15 days

The Tenerife Council has approved the adoption of exceptional measures aimed at containing the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus, including the suspension or postponement of all sporting, cultural, educational and informative activities of a collective nature and the closure of all of the island’s museums and centres, from Friday 13th for at least 15 days.
Recreational and camping areas dependent on the Tenerife Council, the camps and the Tenerife sports complex, Santa Cruz-Ofra, have been ordered to shut and all scheduled activities at the Santiago Martín Pavilion and the Tenerife International Centre for Trade Fairs and Congresses have been suspended. The TEA Tenerife Arts Space and all the museums and centres dependent on the Council have closed their doors, along with visitor centres, the Casa del Vino, the Casa de la Miel, the Island Athletics Centre (CIAT) , the Teide Cable Car and the Cueva del Viento.
