On Thursday 8, the Museum of Science and the Cosmos presents a new session of ‘CosmoCine. Science and Biodiversity’. This activity combines the best cinema with debates led by different personalities linked to the material. On this occasion, there will be a screening at 20:00 of the documentary “Seasons” by directors Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud (2015, France). The guest for the talk following the screening will be the doctor of Biological Sciences and university specialist in environmental analysis and education, Eugenia Martín Osorio. Admission is free.

The documentary, 97 minutes in duration, shows the seasons in Europe as experienced by wild animals. Directors Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud traverse the landscape, following the routes of migratory birds and whales, narrating the eventful history that inextricably links humanity to the animal kingdom in a documentary of a markedly ecological nature and great visual beauty. During the filming, the directors, veteran naturalists in filming wildlife (known for “Winged Migration” and “Oceans”), suffered the ever more evident difficulties of filming wild animals in Europe. At the premiere of the documentary, Cluzaud complained to the press that “there is a generation of animals fleeing from us, afraid of us”.
