The Cabildo and the Santa Úrsula Town Hall invite you to the Traditional Crafts Fair

The Cabildo and the Santa Úrsula Town Hall are working together on the revival and promotion of Canary Islands traditions. It has been confirmed that both are collaborating once again on the launch of the town's Traditional Crafts Fair. It will take place on 30 May, the Day of the Canary Islands, starting at 10:00 in the morning.

There will be different activities and events held throughout the day on 30 May, from 10:00 to 22:00. After the inauguration of the Crafts Fair, typical music and dances on the stage located at the main square in Santa Úrsula will be the main attractions both in the morning and in the afternoon. There will be five performances starting at 11:30 and another four starting at 16:00. In the afternoon, there will be a fabric stamping workshop at 15:00 and a Canary Islands speech game at 18:00. The exhibition "Dónde estabas en 1983" (Where Were You in 1983) will begin at 16:00. A performance by the musical group Parranderos y Punto at 20:00 will put the finishing touches on the celebration. There will also be no lack of island sports on the Day of the Canary Islands. At 11:00 is the final of the Canary Islands Martial Arts National Championship in Garrote stick-fighting and at 16:00 is the final of the 2018 Individual Championship in Canarian chapolín, Torneo Luisito, as well as the 11th Bolas Tournament. The final of the 2018 "Eduardo González Flores" Tournament of Canarian chapolín along with Canarian wrestling will be held at 17:00.
