How to use online services

Accessing online services

To access online services you will generally need to identify yourself with a Council of Tenerife recognised digital certificate; however, some services only require a user ID (username and password).

Information on the type of ID you need to provide (digital certificate or user ID) for each service appears under the heading Requirements? in the Services and Procedures section.

Submitting and editing your personal details

If after you have identified yourself your personal details do not appear on the Council of Tenerife database, you will need to register.

S If you have already registered, you can view your personal details as recorded on the Council of Tenerife database, and update them if necessary.

Please note that the following personal details (associated with your digital certificate or user ID) open in read-only mode and cannot be edited:

  • Individuals: National Tax Number (NIF), Name and Surnames.
  • Companies: National Tax Number (NIF), Company Name.

Completing and signing the form

After submitting/confirming your personal details, you can move on to filling out the form.

Any information held by the Council of Tenerife is preloaded into the form.

When you have finished, click on continue to sign the form.

You will then be able to preview the completed form and ensure the information is correct.

Attaching documents

For some services you may need to attach one or more documents

A list of supporting documents required for the chosen service will be displayed. You can attach them by clicking on “Add documents”

You may submit electronic documents, as set forth in Article 35.2 of the Electronic Access to Public Services for Citizens Law 11/2007 of 22 June.

For security reasons, before attaching documents you must sign them all with the certificate you used for identification.

To remove a document, select the cross that appears in the "Remove" box.

To submit another document simply click on "Add Another Document". Write the name of the document in the "Description" field.

Submitting the form

Once you have completed the form and attached supporting documents, it is ready for submission.

After you have submitted the form and supporting documents, you will receive a notification that your form has been processed successfully.
