On Saturday 17 March, "In This Trembling Shadow", performed by tenor John Potter and lutenist Ariel Abramovich, brings the programme of the XIII Canary Islands Religious Music Festival in Tenerife to a close. The performance, including religious pieces from the English Renaissance, will take place at the Santo Domingo Church in La Laguna at 20:30.

On Saturday 17 at 20:00, the Museum of Science and the Cosmos hosts a new session of "Museum for Adults", which offers unique and intriguing activities for over 16s. This time there will be a show entitled "Los hilos invisibles del nuevo orden mundial" (The Invisible Threads of the New World Order) with journalist Marta Peirano. It will include scientific mini-shows and gastronomic offerings from "Setevalaolla".

The Farmer’s Market in Tegueste hosts the Patudo Canario Festival and the Wines of Tenerife, a gastronomic event that will takes place in the northern town on Friday 16 from 19:30 to 23:30; Saturday 17 from 10:30 to 23:30, and Sunday 18 from 10:30 to 16:00. Admission is free.

The TEA Tenerife Arts Space premieres "Las postales de Roberto" (2018), a documentary film directed by Tenerifian filmmaker Dailo Barco and produced by Digital 104. It will be shown from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 with screenings at 19:00 and 21:30. Tickets are on sale at the ticket office for €4.

The TEA Tenerife Arts Space hosts the exhibition “Crisis? What Crisis? Chapter 2. Drawings (and other anthropological resources)”, a collection concentrated on drawing and its relevance to the careers of twenty Canary Islands artists born after 1975. The show can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 20:00, until 3 June.

The TEA Tenerife Arts Space presents “Contra la piel” (“Against the Skin”), the new exhibition of Area 60, a support programme helping to integrate young artists and curators into the professional world. The show is curated by Semíramis González (Gijón, 1988) and exhibits creations by artists Cristóbal Tabares, Valle Galera, Rubén H. Bermúdez and Gabriela Bettini. It is open until 6 May. Admission is free.

The Museum of Nature presents the world’s largest exhibition of mummies and funerary items

The Museum of Nature and Mankind will host the exhibition “Athanatos. Immortal. Death and Immortality in Past Populations” from 20 December to 4 June from 9:00 to 21:00. It will offer a look at the funeral rites of the Guanches as well as other cultures and will include an extraordinary World Congress on Mummy Studies to be held in May.
