The Royal Economic Society of Friends of the Island of Tenerife (Real Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País de Tenerife -RSEAPT) hosts a talk by Javier López-Cepero Jiménez, doctor of Agronomic Engineering and coordinator of the Technical Department of the Canarian Archipelago Regional Cooperatives Group (COPLACA), entitled "Contaminación debida a la actividad agraria" ("Contamination due to agricultural activity"). The event forms part of the 9th edition of the Planet Earth Seminar and takes place on Monday 7 May at 19:00. Admission is free.

The Candelaria TEA Space (the Old Town Hall Arts Space in Candelaria) hosts an exhibition by Daniel Jordán entitled "Fazer horas" until 17 June. Visitors will find everything from figures hidden in the benches of the hall to birds in the balconies, figures and ceramic plates from these homes and even sleeping pets. It can be visited Mondays to Fridays, from 09:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00. Admission is free.

The Santo Domingo convent in La Laguna hosts the photography exhibition

The former Santo Domingo convent will host Ankor Ramos' photography exhibition "Un paseo por India" until 16 June. It can be visited Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00, and on Saturday mornings. The show is the result the author's trip through the country in November and December 2014, during which he toured the cities of Delhi, Amritsar, Varanasi, Kajuraho, Agra, Jaipur and Jodhpur.

TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes presenta una muestra de vídeo de la artista multidisciplinar Nela Ochoa (Caracas, 1953), destacada por ser una de las pioneras del videoarte en Venezuela. "Nela Ochoa. Vídeos 1985-2006" es el título de este nuevo proyecto que permite que su obra se vea por primera vez en Canarias. Se podrá visitar de manera gratuita en el Cuarto Oscuro de TEA hasta el 3 de junio, de martes a domingo, de 10:00 a 20:00 horas. .

The TEA Tenerife Arts Space hosts the exhibition "El azar objetivo. Fotografía de vanguardia en la Colección COFF" through 15 July, again showing the public some of the pieces of the Ordóñez-Falcón Photography Collection (COFF). It is the most substantive private photography collection in Spain and one of the most extensive in all of Europe. It will remain open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 20:00, until 25 June.

The CajaCanarias Cultural Space in Santa Cruz hosts the exhibition “Vikingos. Guerreros del Norte, Gigantes del Mar” (Vikings: Warriors of the North, Giants of the Sea). It is the result of a collaboration with the company Museums Partner and the National Museum of Denmark and can be visited through 11 August from Monday to Friday 10:00 to 13:30 and 17:30 to 20:00, and Saturdays from 10:00 to 13:30. The Cabildo’s Foreign Action Department organises an advanced training course on Public Nature Tourism Facility Management as part of the DIOMEDEA project (MAC/4.6c/151). It will be held in the auditorium of the office block of the Santiago Martín Pavilion in La Laguna on 7 May from 15:30 to 20:30; 9 May from 12:00 to 14:00 and 15:30 to 20:30 and 10 and 11 May from 10:00 to 14:00 and 15:30 to 20:30.
