MusaJapón organiza un taller sobre la historia de la música en Japón en el Museo de la Naturaleza y el Hombre

El festival de cultura japonesa MusaJapón, que organiza el Cabildo en las instalaciones del Museo de la Naturaleza y el Hombre, ofrece este viernes 17, a partir de las 19:00 horas, un taller sobre la historia de la música en Japón durante los siglos XVIII, XIX y XX. La actividad comenzará a las 19:00 horas con entrada libre hasta completar aforo.

<p>The staircase of the Plaza de El Príncipe (in front of the Town Hall) will be the venue for Andrés González Novoa and Juan Carlos Tacoronte to perform as part of the Summer Storytelling Festival in El Sauzal on Friday 17 at 21:00. Admission is free.</p>

<p>From Friday 17 until Sunday 19, the TEA Tenerife Arts Space screens "50 is the New 30", by Valérie Lemercier, with screenings at 19:00 and 21:30. The film will be shown in the original French version with Spanish subtitles. Tickets are on sale for €4.</p>

<p>When her husband leaves her for a younger woman and she loses her job, Marie-Francine has no choice but to return to her parents' house, at 50! Treated like a child by her parents, she is put to work at their small electronic cigarette shop. The Council of Tenerife's Administrative Service for Historical Heritage and the Government of the Canary Islands' General Directorate for Cultural Heritage have organised the "Third International Seminar on Tranhumance Routes and Rural Paths". It will be held on 5 September from 9:00 to 18:45 at the Museum of Nature and Mankind in Tenerife. Admission is free and registration is open until 31 August.

Through 2 December 2018, the TEA Tenerife Arts Space hosts a new exhibition, "Casi el azar: Óscar Domínguez, la decalcomanía y sus derivas" ("Almost by Chance: Óscar Domínguez, decalcomania and its derivatives"). It is a display that brings together the work of twenty artists who have employed the decalcomania technique to experiment with pictorial gestural automatism. It will remain open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 until 20:00.

The MiniTEA Space inaugurates The Garden for boys, girls and families to develop their creativity

The MiniTEA Space is the new location that the TEA Tenerife Arts Space is devoting for boys and girls accompanied by their families to develop their creativity. On this occasion, the MiniExpo is entitled "The Garden" and presents four sculptures by local artist Juan Carlos Batista, a polyptych by artist Juana Fortuny and a painting by Haitian artist Hector Hyppolite. Admission is free on Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 20:00 from Friday 29 June until 23 September.

The display, inspired by the Islands' distant past and the birth of anthropology, can be visited from Monday to Saturday, 11:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 19:00, until 30 October.
