The aim of the Local Employment and Development Agency (AEDL) is to promote the development of farming, fishing and aquafarming in Tenerife, foster professionalism in the different subsectors, train businesspeople and industry professionals, as well as to promote innovation and the differentiation of activities to achieve a more competitive sector and generate mid- and long-term economic growth.
The AEDL is a service run by the Council of Tenerife's Department for Agriculture, Livestock, Fishing and Waters and was established in collaboration with the Canary Islands Employment Services for the farming, fishing and aquafarming sector.
The Council of Tenerife currently has experts specialized in the different farming and fishing subsectors, employed to implement the various projects, as well as to provide personalized advice to all businesspeople requiring these services.
