The town and city halls of Tenerife, via the Departments for Social Matters and Social Services provide information, guidance, advice, monitoring, referral and processing services in matters relating to care and social services to groups such as immigrants, young unemployed people, the elderly and women.
Main services available include: emergency financial assistance, assistance at home, guidance for matters relating to housing and employment and applications for Canary Island Insertion Allowance.
