Immigrants in Tenerife can receive free information, guidance and training courses in relation to employment from trade unions and international trade union federations in:

  • The Centre for Information on Employment for Foreign Workers (CITE)
  • The General Union of Workers (UGT) website.

This is an entity sponsored by the CCOO trade union that provides support to immigrant workers.

  • Guidance and information on Immigration Law.
  • Processing of work permits, residency and family reunification visas, applications for Spanish citizenship and visa exemptions.
  • Training courses.
  • Mediation and help with communication in schools in the Canary Islands in different languages.
