The water activity centre CIDEMAT-Candelaria directs its facilities to sports initiation and technique , That is to say, to the bettering and improvement of sportspersons already initiated in the disciplines taught or to the initiaction of new sportspersons. It permits the practice of sailing, kite-surfing, diving, free-diving and canoeing and enables said disciplines to have a reference in an insular scope.

- The use of common parts of the port which are necessary for the development of the services provided by CIDEMAT is also permitted.
- Furthermore, a parking zone and corresponding public access to the facility is provided.
