Rural parks
Rural parks are areas that possess noteworthy natural value and landscape elements with a human presence linked to traditional agriculture and farming. On Tenerife, this classification is afforded to the mountains of Anaga covering a surface area 14,418 hectares and Teno, covering 8063 hectares, representing the oldest areas of the island.
