The Institute for Social and Socio-Sanitary Care (IASS) offers residents a range of resources for the elderly designed to meet the specific needs of each individual person.
Services offered
- Residential homes.- Residential homes offer permanent accommodation and provide elderly people with assistance and social, cultural, recreational and health services. Activities are organised to promote individual and group participation and the integration of elderly people in society, preventing detachment from the family environment.
- Day centres.-Day centres do not offer full-time accommodation but instead facilitate day stays and provide assistance and social, cultural, recreational and health services for the elderly, and organise activities to promote individual and group participation and the integration of elderly people in society, preventing detachment from the family environment.
- Residential centres.- Residential centres offer both permanent accommodation and day-time accommodation.
