Individuals and public and private bodies often request advice or offer collaboration in relation to the implementation of environmental education programs within their area of activity.
The Council of Tenerife's Department for the Environment can assist with the implementation of these environmental education programs and activities via a number of collaboration channels (meetings, liaisons, agreements).
In certain cases, it participates from the activity construction phase onwards (helping to elaborate and identify objectives, content, necessary resources, evaluation, etc) or supervises content, language and the format of didactic material and the techniques for dynamisation that are best suited to each recipient.
At other times, it provides advice in relation to installations, didactic and informative material of the highest interest or documentation that is available for consultation in the Centre for Environmental Documentation.
Finally, depending on availability, the Unit may actively participate, setting up workshops and educational activities and environmental games and exhibitions or participating in courses, conferences and seminars , amongst other actions.
